  • Osaka Mercantile Exchange Aluminium Futures Weekly Report

    This week, OME aluminium futures dropped due to the outlook of the stronger yen against the dollar. Distant two months fell to the 170 yen level. Distant month : opening 169.0 yen, a high 169.5 yen (Sep. 17), a low 166.6 yen (Sep. 16), closing 168.9 yen.

  • LIFFE lists Three Month Euribor and EuroLibor Futures contracts on LIFFE CONNECT™

    The London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange (LIFFE) today lists its euro-denominated Short Term Interest Rate (STIR) futures contracts (the Three Month Euribor and Three Month EuroLibor futures contracts) on LIFFE CONNECT™; the last of the complement of STIR futures contracts to be listed on the electronic trading system.

  • HKFE Briefs Members on Merger Proposal

    The Hong Kong Futures Exchange (HKFE) on September 17 held an informal briefing session for Shareholders to explain documents and procedures related to the proposed merger of the HKFE, the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong and the related clearing houses. Approximately 100 Shareholders and their associates attended the informal briefing.

  • HKFE Board Votes to Plan Migration of HIS Futures & Options in 2000

    The Hong Kong Futures Exchange (HKFE) said today that its Board of Directors has voted to plan the migration of Hang Seng Index (HSI) Futures and Options from open outcry trading to the Exchange's HKATS electronic trading system for next year. When the plan is completed, the migration timetable will be forwarded to the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) for its approval.

  • Equant Equity Options Launched In Paris

    On September 27, ParisBourseSBF SA will launch two new equity options based on Equant, a company first listed on the monthly settlement compartment of the Premier Marché on July 21, 1998. Equant has been a component stock of the CAC40 index since July 20, 1999.
