Attention NYMEX And COMEX Division Members With Floor Operations At The One North End Avenue Facility

NYMEX and COMEX Division members with floor operations will be permitted access to the building to check for technical readiness on SUNDAY, September 16, between the hours of 6 A.M. and 6 P.M. Boats will be available at the ferry terminal at W 38th St. and the West Side Highway. Only members with Exchange-issued identification will be permitted to board a ferry.

SGX To Trade All ETFs When US Stock Market Re-Opens. Nikkei Normal Opening Hours On Monday

Exchange Traded Funds - SGX will resume trading of its four US-based ETFs on Tuesday 18 September (Singapore time) pending the US stock market re-opening on Monday 17 September (New York time). These four ETFs are S&P 500 SPDRs®, DJIA DIAMONDS, iSharesSM S&P 500 Index Fund, and iSharesSM Dow Jones U.S. Technology Sector Index Fund. The other ETF - iSharesSM MSCI Singapore Index Fund - has already been trading since Thursday 13 September.

SGX Stock Market To Observe 3 Minutes' Silence

SGX's securities market will observe a moment of silence from 2.00 to 2.03 pm on Monday 17 September 2001. This is in conjunction with a number of other securities exchanges throughout the world. The afternoon session of 17 September will commence at 2.03 pm.

Nymex Exercise And Abandonment Procedures For The October Silver And Gold Options Which Expire On Friday September 14, 2001

Standard auto exercise (1 Tick) procedures are in place. To exercise any out of the money option or to abandon any in the money option, clearing member representatives must fax to NYMEX Clearing the following information at 212-303-8538. Clearing Member number, Option ID, Account, Strike, Clearing House, and exercise/abandon, name and signature of clearing member representative and contact number.

The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc. today announced that weekend readiness testing was highly successful and that Nasdaq, Market Makers, ECNs, and other participants would be ready for reopening on Monday morning.

Instinet Ready To Resume Trading

Instinet successfully completed testing on Saturday, Sept. 15th, with Nasdaq, NYSE and AMEX. The majority of our customers have been able to establish connectivity with us. If the US Equity markets re-open on Monday Sept. 17th, Instinet is ready to resume trading. If US markets reopen, Instinet will begin trading Nasdaq NMS and Small Cap stocks at 8am EDT. No orders in these stocks will be accepted on Instinet prior to 8am. US Exchange-Listed and other Nasdaq stocks will begin trading at 9:30am
