CBOT Membership Overwhelmingly Approves Historic Step In Restructuring Initiative With Nearly 91% Favorable Vote - Exchange Moves Towards Implementation Of Remaining Steps Of Restructuring Strategy

Chicago Board of Trade members yesterday overwhelmingly voted in favor of implementation of the initial step of the Exchange's strategy to restructure as a for-profit, demutualized organization, with 90.7% of the votes cast in support. This initial step will allow the CBOT to reincorporate as a Delaware non-stock, not-for-profit corporation, which will serve to facilitate the CBOT's future restructuring efforts.

The cases, prosecuted by the NYSE Division of Enforcement, may be subject to review by the Securities and Exchange Commission and, thereafter, by federal courts.

EEX: Trading Simulation Initiated For The Spot Market - Comprehensive Tests Ensure Successful Launch

Eurex Release 4.0 Successfully Launched - Clearing GUI Introduced - New Functionality For

On Monday, June 26, 2000, the derivatives market Eurex successfully introduced a new software version of the Eurex electronic trading system. The fourth generation of Eurex software was thus launched right on time on the target date. Following final simulations with the participants over the past few weeks, trading via the newly installed software was active on Monday for the first time.
