The turnover in Novo Nordisk exceeded DKK 1 billion today. The large turnover is a consequence of today's announcement of the company's half-year results. The share price soared from 1,735.00 end of Friday to 1,855.00 when the market closed today.

CBOE's New Mini Index Off To Impressive Start

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) announced that trading of the new CBOE Mini-NDX index (CBOE ticker symbol MNXSM) debuted successfully today. Trading in the new index product totaled 27,417 contracts, making MNX one of the most-active options at CBOE today.
