Quarterly Share Changes In The S&P/ASX 50 Index

Standard & Poor's will make the following constituent, share and IWF changes in the S&P/ASX 50 Index as a part of the quarterly index rebalance. The changes will be made effective after the close of trading Friday 19th March, 2004:

Standard & Poor's, as part of the quarterly rebalancing announced on March 17, 2004, has made a revision to the share figures announced for the S&P/ASX 50. These changes will be effective after the close of business on Friday, March 19, 2004.

Ljubljana Stock Exchange: Corporate Governance Code For Slovenia Signed And Adopted

On Thursday, 18 March 2004, the representatives of the Managers' Association of Slovenia, the Association of Supervisory Boards' Members and the Ljubljana Stock Exchange signed the Corporate Governance Code for Slovenia, which had been drafted and then finalised by the three institutions. At the same time, the three parties also signed a Memorandum on Cooperation related to corporate governance.
