Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index: The common shares of Glenex Industries Inc. (TSX:GXI) and Peruvian Gold Limited (TSX:PVO) will be delisted from the TSX Venture Exchange after the close of business on Monday, July 8, 2002 as a result of an amalgamation agreement between the companies and Quest Investment Corporation.

London Stock Exchange Monthly Market Report For June 2002 - Daily Average Number Of Trades On Sets Exceeds 100,000 For The First Time - IPO Volumes Rise Compared With June 2001

Trading on SETS, the Exchange's electronic order book, continues to grow. For the first time in any month since its launch in October 1997, the daily average number of trades on SETS exceeded 100,000. In June 2002 there were on average 102,421 trades per day, 64 per cent more than June 2001 when there were 62,354.

Turnover The turnover on all market segments of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) in June 2002 totaled SIT 31.29 billion, which was SIT 4.7 billion less than in May 2002, and SIT 528 million less than in June 2001. During the first six months of 2002, the total turnover rose by 42% compared to first half of 2001.

Turnover for June was EUR 54,315.2 million. This compares to EUR 58,859.7 million in May. Domestic turnover in June was EUR 49,294.4 million, foreign turnover EUR 4,382.8 million, Nuovo Mercato, Domestic, EUR 602.5 million, Nuovo Mercato, Foreign, EUR 9.0 million and on the Ristretto market EUR 26.5 million.

Winnipeg Commodity Exchange New Crop Canola Price Outlook

During the past few months new crop canola futures prices have been trending upward. The Nov 02 canola futures have ranged from approximately $320.00/tonne at the beginning of May 2002 to a high of $362.30/tonne at the end of June 2002, a range of just over $40.00/tonne. A similar upward trend was observed last year at this time in new crop prices, however, to date the Nov 02 canola contract has continued to trade at levels above those observed a year ago in the Nov 01 contract.

Winnipeg Commodity Exchange Trade During The Month Of June Continues At Traditional Levels

Winnipeg futures trade during the month of June declined 21.5% to 161,325 contracts compared to the same month one year ago. With the Exchange For Physicals (EFPs) included, June 2002 futures trading volume totaled 168,824 contracts.
