Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In S&P Canadian Indices: S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index: Effective after the close on Tuesday, June 4, 2002, MDR Switchview Global Networks Inc. (TSX: MSW) will change its name to Avotus Corporation. The ticker symbol will change to 'AVS' and the new CUSIP number will be 054456 10 8. There will be no consolidation of capital.

Oslo Børs´s main index dropped 2.7 per cent in May 2002. So far this year the main index has fallen by 0.75 per cent, thereby cancelling out the first quarter upturn. Eurex Bonds Introduce New Market-Making Model - Price Cuts And Greater Flexibility For Market

On 3 June, the electronic trading platform Eurex Bonds, which is operated jointly by the international derivatives exchange Eurex and major bond-trading houses, introduced a new market-making model. This was announced by Eurex on Tuesday. The aim of this model, developed in collaboration with market participants, is to increase flexibility in market making. CBOT's May Volume At 29,119,791, Second-Highest Monthly Total

The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) today announced trading volume of 29,119,791 contracts for May 2002, up 22.7% from April 2002, up 22.0% from May 2001, and up 16.5% year-to-date (YTD) at 124,093,833. May 2002 volume was the second-highest monthly total in exchange history. Volume on CBOT's electronic trading platform set a monthly record of 10,235,848 contracts. Electronic trading was up 33.0% from April 2002, up 134.0% from May 2001, and up 130.7% YTD at 40,130,990.
