Euronext.liffe Cocoa Futures Contract Breaks All-Time Annual Volume Record

Euronext.liffe's Cocoa futures contract set a new annual volume record of 1,908,570 contracts on Tuesday 4 November 2003, breaking the previous record of 1,908,136 contracts set in 1993.
Euronext Paris: CAC40 Shift To Free-Float Weighting: Revision Of Free-Float Calculation And Capping Factors

In preparation for the forthcoming shift to free-float weighting of the CAC40 index, the Euronext Index Steering Committee has adopted rules for the revision of free-float calculation and capping factors for CAC40 components, as well as changes to the rules governing parent companies and subsidiaries in the SBF120 and SBF250 indices. The new rules will apply from December 1, 2003 on the basis of data (simulation) published on 28 November 2003 in official Notices published by Euronext Paris.
Eurex US And National Futures Association Sign Agreement - Eurex To Obtain Regulatory Services From Leading U.S. Provider - Eurex US To Be Governed By 12-Member Board Of Directors

Eurex US today announced it has signed a Regulatory Services Agreement with the National Futures Association (NFA). Under the terms of the agreement, the NFA will perform market surveillance and trade practice surveillance for Eurex US. The initial term of the agreement is three years, with automatic one year renewals. The NFA is an independent, non-profit organization and currently provides regulatory services for two U.S. exchanges.

Standard & Poor's and the American Stock Exchange (Amex) announced today the names of six Nasdaq securities in the S&P 500 Index, the most widely used benchmark to track U.S. stock market performance, to participate in a pilot program to use standardized auction market closing prices provided by the Amex.
