Koninklijke Vopak N.V. has announced its intention to hold an extraordinary meeting of shareholders on 17 June 2002 to request approval for the proposed legal spin-off of Vopak's chemical distribution activities in a new company called Univar N.V. Open interest in stock index products traded on Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME) set a new record of 1,615,399 positions yesterday, June 13. Volume was boosted by record open interest of 278,499 positions in E-mini™ S&P 500 futures and record open interest of 244,490 positions in E-mini Nasdaq-100 futures.

Members at the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) on Thursday, June 12, 2002 set a new daily volume record in the CBOT's 10-year note options contract, trading 329,161 contracts. The previous high was 281,660 contracts traded on December 11, 2001.
Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In S&P Canadian Indices - S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index: The common shares of Manhattan Resources Ltd. (TSX:MNR) will be removed from the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of business on Thursday, June 13, 2002. The company's securities will be listed on the TSX at the opening on Friday, June 14, 2002.
