Pay Parity Voted For CFTC

Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) Chairman James E. Newsome expressed profound appreciation to the House and Senate conferees for including a "pay parity" provision for the CFTC in the six-year farm bill that was passed by the House this week and is expected to be voted on by the Senate next week. This provision will permit the CFTC, as a member of the President's Working Group on Financial Markets, to compensate its employees at a level comparable to other federal financial regulatory

HKATS' Bulletin Board Function To Be Available For HK Stock Options Trading

HEX PLC´S Interim Report For 1-3/2002

Consolidated turnover increased by 3.6 per cent to 23.8 million euro (1-3/2001:22.9 million euro). Operating profit decreased by 7.9 per cent to 6.9 million euro (7.5 million euro), corresponding to 28.9% of turnover (32.5%). Profit before extraordinary items, appropriations and taxes amounted to 7.8 million euro (7.5 million euro), 4.4 per cent higher than in the corresponding period of the previous year. Copenhagen Stock Exchange: Record For Share Trading In April Despite Price Drop

The turnover on the equity market amounted to DKK 48.9 billion in April 2002, which was an all-time high since the new reporting rules were implemented in July last year and corresponds to an increase of 34 per cent compared with March. The turnover should moreover be seen in the light of a coinciding fall in the KFX Index of 8 per cent. The average daily trading volume reached DKK 2.4 billion, an increase of 27 per cent on March 2002.

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index: Effective after the close on Wednesday, May 1, 2002, Touchstone Resources Ltd. (TSX: TCH.U) will be removed from the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index. On that date, the company changed the currency in which it trades to US dollars.
