S&P Emerging Markets Database Index Announcement: Rebalancing News - South Africa- Treatment Of Closing Prices In South Africa (Eff. 11/1/02)

S&P/EMDB will change its closing field for obtaining prices for the South African constituents effective November 1, 2002. Currently, S&P/EMDB use the last traded price from Reuters to obtain prices for the South African constituents. Effective November 1, 2002, S&P/EMDB will use the closing auction prices for all stocks in South Africa.

NGM Launches Nordic Derivatives Exchange

NGM is launching a new marketplace for trading in derivatives. The new marketplace is being launched under the name Nordic Derivatives Exchange (NDX). Handelsbanken Securities, the largest player on the Nordic market, is the first client to sign the framework agreement.
