Futures & Options on RTS Stock Exchange: Weekly Data

For the week of April 14th- April 18th, 2003, total trading volume on FORTS (Futures & Options on RTS) increased by 12% to 725 thousand contracts (the ruble increase constitutes 17%, from 2 979 million rubles to 3 486 million rubles in underlying value). The number of trades reached 17 954, 5% up on 17 175 trades the week before. CBOT®Fed Funds Options Contract Reaches Open Interest Benchmark

The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) today announced the CBOT's Fed Funds options contract, launched March 14, 2003, reached an open interest benchmark with 100,785 contracts held on April 17, surpassing the previous record of 98,275 contracts set April 16, 2003.
