Standard & Poor's Canadian Index Operations announces the following index change effective after the close of business on Thursday, July 4, 2002: The relative weight of Canadian National Railway Company (TSX:CNR) will increase by approximately 0.07% in the S&P/TSX Composite and S&P/TSX Capped Composite, 0.09% in the S&P/TSX 60 and S&P/TSX 60 Capped, 0.59% in the S&P/TSX Industrial and 0.08% in the TSX 100 Indices. SEC Acts on Market Data Rebate Programs
On July 2, 2002, the Securities and Exchange Commission abrogated proposals by several markets to extend rebates of market data revenues to market participants. Under Commission rules, if the markets re-file these proposals, the Commission would publish notices in the Federal Register and the public would be invited to comment on them.

June 2002 - Euronext Key Indicators - Cash Transactions Grew By 3.6% In First Half Of 2002 - Euronext Confirms Its Leadership In Europe On Trackers
For the first half of 2002 trades in cash products through Euronext market systems grew by 3.6% to 64,621,690 compared to the same period a year ago. Equities transactions increased by 5% in the first half of 2002 over the same period in 2001 totalling 60,331,734.
