  • Standard & Poor’s Announces Quarterly Rebalancing For The S&P ADR Indices

    As part of the S&P Global 1200 IWF and share rebalancing, Standard & Poor’s will make changes in the IWFs and number of ADRs used for the purposes of calculating the S&P ADR Indices. The changes will be effective at the close of business on June 18, 2004. The following link contains additional details about the changes:

  • Record Volume Day For SFE SPI 200<SUP>™</sup> Futures

    Sydney Futures Exchange experienced the largest transaction volume on record yesterday for the SFE SPI 200™ Futures contract. Traded volume for the day was 134,826, breaking the previous record of 132,976 set on 17 March 2004.

  • Quarterly Rebalancing For S&P Global 100, S&P Europe 350, S&P Latin America 40, S&P Asia 50 And S&P/ASX 50 Indices

    Standard and Poor’s, as part of the quarterly rebalancing, will change the shares outstanding for the S&P Global 100, S&P Europe 350, S&P Asia 50, S&P ASX 50, and the S&P Latin America 40 Indices.

  • OMHEX Sells XACT Fonder To Svenska Handelsbanken

    As part of OMHEX's continued focus on core operations, OMHEX has signed an agreement with Svenska Handelsbanken to sell XACT Fonder AB to Handelsbanken, with transfer of ownership to be effected on June 30, 2004. XACT Fonder manages Sweden's first exchange-traded funds (ETFs), XACT OMX and XACT SBX. The deal will have a positive affect on OMHEX's result of approximately SEK 16 million during the second quarter 2004.

  • NYBOT's Russell 1000 Contract Sets Two New Open Interest Records

    The New York Board of Trade (NYBOT) Russell 1000® Index futures and options contract markets have recently established new open interest records. NYBOT’s Russell 1000 Index contracts measure the performance of the 1,000 largest companies in the Russell 3000® Index of U.S. equities.
