Mr. Kittiratt Na-Ranong,The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) President, noted that the SET had earlier issued rules and regulations on securities trading requiring member companies to require collateral from their customers amounting to at least 10 per cent of the customer’s credit line. These rules will effective from 1 July 2004 onwards.

Standard & Poor’s Announces Changes To S&P U.S. Indices

Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes to the S&P MidCap 400 and S&P SmallCap 600 indices after the close of trading on Thursday, June 3, 2004: UTStarcom Inc. (NASD:UTSI) will replace Price Communications Corp. (NYSE:PR) in the S&P MidCap 400. Since its addition to the Index, Price Communications has altered its corporate structure in such a way as to no longer qualify as an operating company, thus rendering the company ineligible for S&P U.S. index inclusion.
