Three New Lyxor ETFs Launched In The XTF Segment On Xetra - Deutsche Börse Is Europe’s Largest ETF Platform

Deutsche Börse has further expanded its XTF segment for international exchange-traded index funds (ETFs) on the electronic trading platform Xetra. Since Wednesday 30 August, three more exchange-traded funds issued by Lyxor Asset Management have been tradable in XTF. The new index funds offer investors a low-cost and flexible way to participate in the performance of various international equity markets.

NASD Hearing Panel Fines American Funds Distributors $5 Million For Directed Brokerage Violations

An NASD Hearing Panel ruled today that American Funds Distributors, Inc. (AFD) violated NASD's Anti-Reciprocal Rule by directing brokerage commissions to securities firms that were the top sellers of American Funds mutual funds from 2001 through 2003. The panel censured AFD and imposed a $5 million fine. Today's ruling resolves charges brought by NASD's Department of Enforcement in February 2005.
