Ljubljana Stock Exchange Annual Statistical Report
In 1999 the total turnover on the Exchange reached SIT 265.7 billion, which was a 53.2% increase over the year 1998. Turnover in individual months fluctuated between SIT 10 billion in July and SIT 44.3 billion in December. The record month of the first half-year was March (same as in 1998) when the Exchange recorded a turnover of SIT 24.3 billion. The Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) wishes to advise that the historical sector reclassification data of its listed companies has been completed. The data contains the history of the JSE's Indices, sector and equities, and Includes earnings, dividend yields and price earnings ratios. The data covers the period January 1993 to March 1999.

Deutsche Börse, ABN AMRO, BNP Paribas Group, Deutsche Bank, Dresdner Bank and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter are developing a unique European bond-index family based on real-time prices. The participating banks make their price information available as real-time data to Deutsche Börse, which will use it to calculate an index family. Incident Summary For Temporary Disruption Of Stock Exchange Of Hong Kong Trading Terminals On 8 February 2000
At 15:05, a power trip occurred on Hong Kong Island and affected the electricity supply to SEHK's computer room in Exchange Square. The Exchange's Uninterrupted Power Supply system (UPS) was automatically triggered to substitute the city power. AMS was able to continue its normal operation with the UPS cut-in. The UPS also activated its alarm bell to signal a power interruption.

Deutsche Börse Updates Composition Of Stock Indices Sector Indices For Neuer Markt Starting In May
On Tuesday, Deutsche Börse decided the composition of the equity indices MDAX, SDAX and NEMAX 50 as part of the regular index review. A decision was also made regarding the changes that would apply to the DAX in the case of a merger between Mannesmann and Vodafone.

CHX Continues Record-Breaking Pace In 2000 - Trade Volume Eclipses Record Mark - OTC Trading Surges To An All-Time High - QQQ Also Reaches New High
The Chicago Stock Exchange (CHX) started the new century the way it ended the last, recording new share and trade volume highs in January 2000. Total trade volume reached an all-time monthly record of 4,942,558, an increase of 134 percent over January 1999. Total share volume set a January record at 1,903,578,041, an increase of 89 percent over the same time last year.

Turnover in shares in January amounted to EUR 73,566.2 million compared to EUR 64,055.3 million in December 1999. In January, the average daily turnover in trading shares was EUR 3,503.2 million compared to EUR 3,050.3 million in December 1999.
