Futures & Options On RTS Stock Exchange: 2004 Results

Market Dynamics In 2004 total trading volume on FORTS (Futures & Options on RTS), the derivatives segment of the RTS Stock Exchange, exceeded the 2003 total trading volume by 1.6 times and reached the all-time record. The number of trades increased by 1.7 times. In 2004 1.5 million trades in 42 million contracts were executed with total volume reaching 338 billion rubles. CBOE Trades Over 2.6 Million Contracts On Friday, January 21 - Second Highest Single-Day Total In CBOE History

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), the world's largest options exchange, announced that reported volume at CBOE totaled 2,645,318 contracts on Friday, January 21st.Friday's total represented the second highest daily trading volume, behind the 2,788,019 contracts traded on April 18, 2001.

American Stock Exchange Reports Decrease In Short Interest

The American Stock Exchange (Amex) member and non-member organizations has reported short interest of 615,037,620 shares as of the January 14 settlement date, a decrease of 12,886,832 from the 627,924,452 (adjusted) shares reported in mid-December. The January figure represents trades through December 10, 2004.

Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Friday, January 21, 2005: Pursuant to a special resolution passed by shareholders on November 20, 2003, Westrange Corp. (TSXVN: WRC) will change its name and symbol to HTC HYDROGEN TECHNOLOGIES CORP. (TSXVN: HTC). The new CUSIP number will be 40430B 101. There is no consolidation of capital.
