NYBOT’s® NYFE Division To Permit Exchange Traded Funds As Part Of An Exchange For Physical Transaction - Approval Clears Way To Efficiently Use ETFs In NYFE's Russell 1000® Index Futures Contract
The New York Board of Trade’s (NYBOT) New York Futures Exchange (NYFE) division’s Board of Directors decided at a recent NYFE Board Meeting to permit the use of Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) as the physical or cash component of an Exchange for Physical (EFP) transaction in the Russell 1000 Index Futures contract traded on NYFE. There will be no additional EFP transaction fees, and no minimum contract size.
