Dutterer To Return To BOTCC, Step Down As CBOT President/CEO
Dennis Dutterer, who has served as Interim President & CEO of the Chicago Board of Trade since April, announced today that he has completed his work at the CBOT® and will return to his position as President & CEO of the Board of Trade Clearing Corporation. Dutterer will resume his duties at BOTCC on January 15, 2001 after helping manage a smooth transition.

Five companies have last night been confirmed as new constituents of the FTSE 100 index, following a regular quarterly review by the independent practitioner committee.

Changes To FTSE techMARK 100
Following a review of the FTSE techMARK 100 index yesterday afternoon, the FTSE Europe/Middle East/Africa Committee confirms nine constituent changes to the small and medium sized technology benchmark. New entrants include Autonomy Corporation PLC and Galen Holdings PLC, while deletions include LastMinute.com and QXL.com PLC. The changes will be applied at close of business on Friday 15 December. Deletions from the FTSE techMARK 100 will remain constituents of the FTSE techMARK All-Share.

The Stock Exchange Of Hong Kong Introduces Additional Broker Supplied Systems
The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong will introduce additional Broker Supplied Systems (BSS) of AMS/3, the Third Generation Automatic Order Matching and Execution System, on 8 December (Friday) and 15 December (Friday). This follows the successful introduction of the pilot batch of BSS last month.

The American Stock Exchange, NASD Regulation, And The New York Stock Exchange Jointly Fine Morgan Stanley & Co. Incorporated $200,000
The American Stock Exchange, LLC, NASD Regulation, Inc., and the New York Stock Exchange, Inc., as a result of a coordinated investigation, today announced that Morgan Stanley & Co. Inc. consented to a censure and $200,000 fine for violations arising from the inaccurate reporting of short interest from November 1996 to August 1998. Philadelphia Continues To Set Equity And Options Volume Records
The Philadelphia Stock Exchange (PHLX) is pleased to announce that equity options volume for the month of November 2000 reached 8,643,469 contracts traded, a 147 percent increase over the same month last year when 3,491,683 contracts changed hands. In addition, year-to-date equity options volume set a new record of 63,535,473 contracts traded. This represents a 60 percent increase over the first eleven months of 1999, the previous record when 39,825,013 contracts traded.

Nickolas J. Neubauer Elected Chairman Of The CBOT
Nickolas J. Neubauer, 54, was elected to a two-year term as Chairman of the Chicago Board of Trade in the exchange's annual election December 6, 2000. Neubauer, an independent member of the exchange since 1978, defeated David P. Brennan, also an independent trader and a member of the CBOT® since 1980, Chairman in 1999-2000. The vote was 557 5/6 for Neubauer and 550 for Brennan. Neubauer's term will begin January 2, 2001.

Euronext Paris Trading Down Slightly On October But Volumes Since January At A Record High
In November, trading on Euronext Paris derivatives markets reached a record high at well over 219 million lots since the beginning of the year (219,351,153). At month end, activity was up more than 16.6% on the full-year total in 1999.

Euronext Amsterdam: Changes in EPRA Index
Following the quarterly review of the EPRA index on 1st December 2000, the EPRA Index Committee decided under the ground rules of the index to make the following changes. The changes are effective as at 2nd January 2001.
