StockholmStock Exchange takes a favorable view of the introduction of a Swedish code for corporate governance. However, it believes that, in certain respects, the proposed code will have excessively far-reaching effects on small and midsize companies. Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Thursday, September 30, 2004: Rocky Mountain Energy Corp. (TSXVN:RME) will be removed from the index and delisted from the TSX Venture Exchange. The shareholders of the company have approved a plan of arrangement with Enterra Energy Commercial Trust.

The Securities and Exchange Commission's Division of Enforcement today brought civil fraud charges against Raymond James Financial Services, Inc., a registered broker-dealer and investment adviser headquartered in St. Petersburg, Fla., based on the conduct of one of its former brokers, Dennis Herula. Starting tomorrow, Oct. 1, 2004, the Securities and Exchange Commission will operate under a continuing resolution that will extend through Nov. 20, 2004. Record Monthly Volume For Sydney Futures Exchange 30 Day Interbank Cash Rate Futures

Sydney Futures Exchange experienced the largest monthly transaction volume on record in September for the SFE 30 Day Interbank Cash Rate Futures contract. The total monthly volume was 100,914 contracts, up 55% compared to the previous monthly record of 64,965 contracts set in August 2004.
