Chicago Mercantile Exchange: Continuous Linked Settlement (CLS) for Currency Products
Beginning with the September 2003 Currency Delivery, CME will offer all firms a new foreign currency settlement option called Continuous Linked Settlement (CLS) as an alternative to the current Orders-To-Pay procedure. This will be used for the September EuroFX and E-mini EuroFX contracts only. CME will make the CLS settlement method available for other CME currency products that are CLS eligible at a later date.

Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In The S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index
Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Friday, July 11, 2003: Sunfire Energy Corporation (TSXVN:SFE.A) will be removed from the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index. The company will be delisted from the TSX Venture Exchange as a result of the completion of an Offer of Purchase from Tusk Energy Inc. (TSX:TKE).

New chairman For Maritime London
Maritime London, the UK's maritime services promotional body, has appointed Richard Sayer as its new chairman. He succeeds David Cobb, who stepped down at the company's AGM on Tuesday (7 July) following two and half years in office.

Kuwait Stock Exchange Trading Report For June 2003
The index of the Kuwait Stock Exchange reached 3,590.5 points at the end of June 2003, a decrease of 145.7 points from the closing value at the end of June. The weighted index reached 229.61 points at the end of June, a decrease of 8.36 points from the closing value at the end of May.
