Futures & Options On The RTS Stock Exchange Derivatives Market

For the week of April 12th – April 16th, 2004, total trading volume on FORTS (Futures & Options on the RTS) increased by 18% in rubles and contracts and reached 869 thousand contracts and 7 666 million rubles. Total open interest as of April 16th, 2004, increased by 15% in rubles and 14% in contracts and reached 7 463 million rubles and 859 thousand contracts.

CBOT Sets New Exchange Open Interest Record

The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®) today announced that on Friday, April 16 the exchange set a new open interest record for the seventh consecutive trading session. Additionally, open interest in CBOT options on 10-year and five-year U.S. Treasury note futures reached new open interest records.
