Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P/ASX 50 Index effective after the close of trading Wednesday November 10th, 2004: Mirvac Group (Australia, SEDOL: 6161978, GICS Code: 40401010) a member of the S&P/ASX 50 Index will increase its shares to 710,869,521. This change is due to a Dividend Reinvestment Plan.

OneChicago To Delist Two Single Stock Futures

The CME Contract Specifications pages on the CME's Web site have been updated to reflect the following: OneChicago has announced effective immediately, the following contracts will no longer be available for trading: Carnival Corporation, with futures symbol CCL1C, and Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Inc., with futures symbol KKD1C. Prior to trading on Monday, November 8, 2004 they will be purged from all OneChicago trading and support systems.

Nymex Sets Record For Clearing Off–Exchange Transactions

The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., announced today that a record 147,153 off–exchange contracts were cleared through NYMEX ClearPortsm yesterday, exceeding the previous record of 137,195 contracts on September 16, 2004.

NYMEX Gold Futures Set Annual Volume Record

Gold futures surpassed its previous annual volume record yesterday on the New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., when the total reached 12,315,578 contracts for the year, surpassing the annual record of 12,235,689 contracts set in 2003.
