    Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman William H. Donaldson today announced that he would step down on June 30, 2005. Chairman Donaldson is the 27th Chairman of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission and was appointed by President Bush in 2003.

  • OneChicago Reports 165% Increase For May 2005 Volume

    OneChicago, LLC today reported that 258,564 contracts traded at the Exchange in May, an increase of 165% over May 2004 trading volume and the fourth consecutive month of year-over-year volume increases. Average daily volume in May was 12,313 contracts. Year-to-date 2005 volume is 91% ahead of the same period in 2004.

  • OMX Exchanges Monthly Statistics May 2005

    On May 30, Vilnius Stock Exchange successfully launched the common Nordic Baltic trading platform SAXESS for trading on the cash markets. SAXESS is already in use at the stock exchanges in Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki, Riga and Tallinn (all exchanges owned by OMX) as well as the stock exchanges in Oslo and Iceland.
