    During the week of March 28 th – April 1 st , 2005, total trading volume on the JSC “RTS Stock Exchange” increased by 174% and reached 1 058 million rubles compared with 386 million rubles the week before. Second-tier stock turnover equaled 287 million rubles, 27% of the total trading volume.

    The International Securities Exchange, Inc. (NYSE: ISE), the world's largest equity options exchange, today reported equity options trading volume for March 2005. Average daily trading volume in equity options contracts increased 23.5% to 1.7 million contracts traded as compared to 1.4 million contracts traded in the same period in the prior year.     At the close of April 29 the structure of the Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS) by Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) and Standard & Poor?s (S&P) will change as a result of an annual review.
