OMX Recruits Erik Thedéen To Head Public Affairs

OMX has strengthened its Public Affairs Department through the recruitment of Erik Thedéen. Through his contacts in the public and private sectors, he will work to help OMX achieve its goals in improving the efficiency of financial markets. An important part of his work will include ongoing efforts in attaining increased integration of the Nordic securities market.

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) announced today that a CBOE seat, or membership, traded today for $1.9 million, a new all-time high and breaking the record that was just established yesterday at $1,800,000.
CBOT Files Motion For Partial Summary Judgment In Suit Against CBOE

CBOT Holdings, Inc. and the Board of Trade of the City of Chicago, Inc. (“CBOT”) today filed a motion for partial summary judgment in the Delaware Court of Chancery against the Chicago Board Options Exchange (“CBOE”) and its Board. A class of Exercise Right holders joined in the filing. In the filing, the CBOT and the class argue that the undisputed facts of the case entitle them to a judgment in their favor.

Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P/ASX 50 Index effective after the close of trading on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2007: Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Ltd. (Australia, SEDOL: 6065586, GICS Code: 40101010), a member of the S&P/ASX 50 Index, will increase its shares to 1,842,493,226 as a result of the company’s dividend-reinvestment plan.
