Swedish Government To Review OMX-Nasdaq Tie-up

The Swedish government is to review the proposed USD3.7 bn (EUR2.7bn) takeover of Nordic bourses owner OMX by Nasdaq. The government fears companies could be forced to operate under U.S. stock market rules.

SWX Swiss Exchange: Rodolfo Straub To Become New Head Of Admission Division

Rodolfo Straub, Head of Capital Markets at the Zürcher Kantonalbank, will take over as Head of Admission at the SWX Swiss Exchange in the fourth quarter of 2007. He will succeed Daniel Keist, who will be leaving the company at the end of July 2007. In the person of Rodolfo Straub, SWX will be gaining the services of a proven expert in Swiss capital market matters.
