The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (Exchange) have joined hands in an enforcement action that led to a disciplinary action by the Exchange against two former directors of a GEM-listed company for misconduct.

Good afternoon, it’s so good be here with you again. As ever, there has been a great deal of activity since I last spoke at the FANZ conference in Christchurch, not least, the new regime coming into full effect almost a year ago. Firstly, I want to acknowledge the incredible commitment and engagement from the financial advice sector to transition smoothly to the requirements, standards, and licensing for the new regime. I’m happy to repeat what I said in another forum earlier this year, this was, and remains, a great example of the outcomes we can achieve when we and the industry work well together. For me, this has been the most successful transition I’ve witnessed in my career.
