    The total value of shares traded for the week ending 2  June 2016 amounted to SAR 16.60 billion, decreasing by 26.69% over the previous week; while total stock market capitalization reached SAR 1,496.89 billion at the end of this period, decreasing by 0.06% over the previous week.

  • CFTC Financial Data For Futures Commission Merchants Update

    Futures commission merchants (FCMs) and retail foreign exchange dealers (RFEDs) must file monthly financial reports with the CFTC's Division of Swap Dealer and Intermediary Oversight (DSIO) within 17 business days after the end of the month. Selected financial information from these reports is published below. The most recent month-end information generally is added within 12 business days after FCMs and RFEDs file their reports, but occasionally may be added later. For example:  The 17th business day filing “due date" for February 28, 2015 financial reports was March 25, 2015.  The 12 business day target for posting these data was April 10, 2015.

  • New York State Department Of Financial Service: North Korea Deemed “Primary Money Laundering Concern”

    The U.S. Department of the Treasury recently announced a Notice of Finding that the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (“North Korea”) is a jurisdiction of “primary money laundering concern” under Section 311 of the USA PATRIOT Act. The Department of Financial Services (“DFS”) shares the Treasury Department’s concerns that North Korea, acting through government agencies and associated front companies, is engaged in illicit activities and may be seeking banking services in other jurisdictions.   Also, the Treasury Department, through its Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (“FinCEN”) released a notice of proposed rulemaking (“NPRM”) recommending a special measure to further isolate North Korea from the international financial system by prohibiting covered U.S. financial institutions from opening or maintaining correspondent accounts with North Korean financial institutions, and prohibiting the use of U.S. correspondent accounts to process transactions for North Korean financial institutions.
