Bank of America Merrill Lynch seizes first place on the Emerging Europe, Middle East & Africa Research Team, Institutional Investor's exclusive annual ranking of the region's best sell-side analysts, for a fourth straight year. The firm earns a spot in all but one of the survey's 21 sectors, missing out only for coverage of Central & Eastern Europe (CE3).

Bracken, LLC Selects Rival Systems - Equity Options Trading Group Leverages Rival Trader And Rival API For Market-Making Strategies

Chicago-based Rival Systems (Rival), a trading software company established last year, today announced that Bracken, LLC has selected Rival as the platform for its equity options market-making business on the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE). Bracken is leveraging Rival Trader’s Electronic Eye and Auto-Quoting capabilities and building the group’s proprietary algorithmic strategies using Rival API. Rival’s speed, customization, functionality and support were critical factors in Bracken’s decision to deploy the technology for all of its trading needs.

JSE Confirms It’s All Systems Go For The SA Equity Market Move To Shorter 3 Day Settlement Cycle - Transition Aligns South Africa To Global Standards

As South Africa’s financial markets finalise preparations for the Equity Market move to a shorter T+3 settlement cycle, the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) has announced that the final market testing phase of the project has been successfully completed and the transition to the shorter settlement cycle will take place on 11 July this year.
