ETFGI Reports Assets Invested In ETFs/ETPs Listed In Canada Reached A New Record Of 81 Billion US Dollars At The End Of July 2016

ETFGI, the leading independent research and consultancy firm on trends in the global ETF/ETP ecosystem, reported assets invested in ETFs/ETPs listed in Canada have increased 25.3% year to date to reach a new record of US$81 billion at the end of July 2016. The Tokyo Commodity Exchange, Inc. is slated to migrate the system to a new trading platform on Tuesday, September 20. Due to the migrating operations, the Exchange will suspend the whole night session on Friday, September 16 (a part of the September 20 clearing period) in accordance to the Article 8 (Temporary Opening and Closing of Session) of the Market Rules.

Singapore Exchange (SGX) today announced the launch of the SGX APAC ex Japan Dividend Leaders REIT Index, composed of 30 real estate investment trusts (REITs) across the Asia Pacific ex Japan region. It will be the first SGX index to be used as a benchmark index for a new exchange-traded fund (ETF), which will be issued by Phillip Capital Management (S) Limited (Phillip Capital Management), the asset management arm of Phillip Capital.
