    The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc., announced today that beginning Monday, February 4, CNBC will broadcast its new morning show, "Wake-Up Call with Liz Claman and Carl Quintanilla" live from the television studio of the Nasdaq MarketSite. The show, which is part of CNBC's new Business Day line-up, will air Monday through Friday from 6:00 - 8:00 a.m. Eastern Time.

    EEX European Energy Exchange released its turnover figures for the month of January on Monday. A total of 2.11 million MWh were traded on the integrated EEX spot and futures market last month (December 2001: 4 million MWh). Spot market turnover, with 1.1 million MWh traded, was 24 percent higher than the month before (December 2001: 894,157 MWh); compared with January last year, trading volume increased by more than 100 percent (January 2001: 529,785 MWh).
