    The 44th General Assembly of the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) will be held in Tokyo from October 11 to 13, 2004, hosted by the Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc.The WFE is an international organization that comprises of major 54 exchanges in the world including Tokyo, New York and London and holds its General Assembly and Annual Meeting once a year.

  • 2-year US Treasury News June 1, 2004 - CBOT® 2-Year US Treasury Futures Traded More Than 490,000 Contracts Last Week

    During the holiday shortened week of May 24th, the CBOT 2-year traded more than 490,000 contracts. In addition, it had three of its busiest trading sessions in its history. On Wednesday, May 26th CBOT 2-years traded a record 155,153 contracts followed by 140,105 contracts on Thursday, May 27th and its fifth highest volume of 101,997 contracts on Tuesday, May 25th.

  • "Cherry-Picked" Data Is Now A Thing Of The Past, Says UK’s Financial Services Authority

  • Standard & Poor’s Announces Changes In The S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index

    Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Monday, May 31, 2004: Aquest Energy Ltd. (TSXVN:AEX) will be removed from the index. The company will graduate to trade on the TSX under the ticker symbol “AEX” at the open on Wednesday, June 2, 2004. WPN Resources Ltd.. (TSXVN:WPR) will change its name to Grove Energy Limited. The new ticker symbol will be “GRV.” There is no consolidation of capital.
