  • CFTC Releases Rule Enforcement Review Of The Market Surveillance Program At The New York Mercantile Exchange

    The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (Commission) has notified the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX or Exchange) of the results of a rule enforcement review of NYMEX’s market surveillance program. The review, which was recently completed by the Commission's Division of Market Oversight (Division), covered the target period of September 1, 2001 to September 1, 2002.

  • CBOT To Continue Exchange-For-Risk (EFR) Program

    The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®) approved the continuation of the Exchange for Risk (EFR) program on a permanent basis for all CBOT agricultural futures contracts, which includes Corn, Soybean, Soybean Meal, Soybean Oil, Wheat, Rice and Oats, beginning July 1, 2003.

  • CBOE Adds $1 Strike Prices On Selected Stock Options

    The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) today announced the start of a pilot program to list series on certain stock option classes at $1 strike price increments. CBOE initiated its program today by listing $1 increment strike prices on AMR Corporation (AMR) and Sun Microsystems Corp. (SUNW). CBOE plans to add Calpine Corp. (CPN), El Paso Corp. (EP), and EMC Corp. (EMC) on Wednesday, June 25, and plans to add Motorola, Inc. (MOT) options on Thursday, June 26.
