Trading volume on swap execution facilities reached $1.17 trillion in average notional value per day during March 2024. This was down 5.6% from the previous month and down 8.3% from the same month of the previous year. Compared to February 2024, trading was down in non-FRA and FRA trading but up in the credit and FX sectors.

ACER Consults On The European Market Rules On Gas Transmission Capacity Allocation

Today, ACER opens a public consultation (running from 8 May until 14 June 2024) on how to update the European market rules on gas transmission capacity allocation. The aim of the consultation is to collect practical proposals from stakeholders on how the gas Capacity Allocation Mechanisms Network Code (CAM NC) could be amended to better reflect the European decarbonisation targets and the evolution of the gas markets.
