    The Exchange has received a valid petition to place the name of Nickolas J. Neubauer on the ballot for the Annual Election for the position of Chairman of the Board (two year term). Mr. Neubauer's name will appear on the ballot for the December 6, 2000 election.

  • CBOT Volume Sets New Record On a/c/e * Trading Hits 183,935 Contracts, Surpassing Former Project A Record

    The Chicago Board of Trade announced yesterday that its members set a new daily volume record of 183,985 contracts traded on its electronic trading platform, a/c/e on November 8, breaking the old record of 166,959 contracts set on October 11, 2000.

  • Swiss Stock Exchange: INFICON Holding AG Opens At CHF 231.25

    The shares of INFICON Holding AG were traded today for the first time on the SWX Swiss Exchange. The offering price was set at CHF 225. At the start of trading on SWX, the stock stood 3% above that level at CHF 231.25 representing a total market capitalization for the company of CHF 535 million.
