Stock Exchange Of Thailand Board Adjusts Listing Regulations Of Investment Units

The President of the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), Mr. Kittiratt Na-Ranong, in announcing today's (27 February 2002) SET Board resolutions for the month of February 2002, announced that the Board has passed resolutions on the listing rules for Investment Units. This is to support the listing of mutual funds having investments abroad and various types of mutual funds on the Exchange.

New Director For Baltic Exchange

Denis Petropoulos, a director of London-based shipbrokers, Braemar Seascope, is to join the board of the Baltic Exchange at the conclusion of the organisation's annual general meeting in July this year. He replaces James Warwick, of The Hadley Shipping Co Ltd, who will complete his term of office at the AGM.
HKEx: Schedule For Abolition Of Minimum Brokerage Revised

The Board of Directors of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) decided today (Wednesday) to defer the abolition of minimum brokerage for one year until 1 April 2003.

Deutsche Börse: MDAX Securities On Xetra Tradable As Of One Share - Xetra Trading Even More Attractive For Private Investors

Starting March 1, all equities except the 30 DAX blue chips can be traded on the Xetra electronic trading platform in continuous trading in every order size. A round lot of one has now been introduced for all MDAX securities, as Deutsche Börse AG reported on Wednesday. Up to now, the smallest tradable order size in continuous trading of these stocks was 100 shares. Above all for private investors, this enhances the possibility of immediate execution for smaller orders on Xetra.
