    The London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange (LIFFE) has had its busiest quarter since trading began on LIFFE CONNECT™, trading a total of 47,423,591 contracts for the first quarter of 2001.     The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) President, Mr. Vicharat Vichit-Vadakan, declared "SET securities trading in March 2001 recorded a total market turnover of 11,899.71 million shares in volume and 113,632.82 million baht in value, 25,754.29 million baht less than in February. The SET Index closed on March 30 at 291.94, down by 33.26 points or 10.23 % from the previous month."
