CBOT: New Dow Divisor Announced

Starting with Wednesday, August 20, stock market trading, the Dow Jones Industrial AverageSM (DJIASM ) will be calculated with a new divisor because of Merck & Co., Inc.'s distribution of .1206 of a share of Medco Health Solutions, Inc. for each share held. As a result, the divisor for the 30 Industrials changes to 0.14249417 from 0.14279922.

(DeAM), the investment advisory unit of Deutsche Bank AG, for failing to disclose a material conflict of interest in its voting of client proxies for the 2002 merger between Hewlett-Packard Company (HP) and Compaq Computer Corporation.
