  • Portuguese Exchange To Adopt FTSE Global Classification System

    BVLP - Bolsa de Valores de Lisboa e Porto and FTSE, the global index group, have signed an agreement enabling BVLP to use the FTSE Global Classification System as the basis on which it will classify its listed stocks. The decision to adopt the FTSE classification system is intended to bring Portuguese listed stocks in line with other internationally traded stocks, and to prepare for the introduction of new indices based on the FTSE system.

(Nasdaq:PHLY) of Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania, will become a component of the Nasdaq Financial-100 Index® effective at the beginning of trading Friday, September 21, 2001. Philadelphia Consolidated Holding Corp. will replace Irwin Financial Corporation (Nasdaq:IRWN), which is de-listing from The Nasdaq Stock MarketSM.

  • Nymex Changes Termination Date For The Eurotop 100(R) And 300(R) Futures Contracts

    The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., today announced that due to the change in trading hours this week for the Eurotop 100® and 300® futures contracts, the termination of trading in the expiring contract month for these contracts, September 2001, will occur on Thursday, September 20, 2001, at 11:00 A.M. Final settlement prices for the expired futures contracts will be determined and disseminated on Friday morning, September 21, 2001
