NQLX To Focus On Top Listings

NQLX LLC announced yesteday that it is focusing on its top listings by suspending over the next several months trading in 29 single stock futures names that lack open interest. In 19 single stock futures names, the suspension of all contracts, except for December 2003 contracts, took effect on December 5, 2003. HKFE Announces Revised Margins For H-shares Index Futures Contract

Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited (HKFE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), announced that with effect from the commencement of trading on Friday, 12 December 2003, the minimum margins to be collected by an Exchange Participant from its clients in respect of their dealings in the following futures contract will be as outlined in the table below. The adjustments are based on the clearing company's normal procedures and standard margining methodology.

(CME), the largest regulated foreign exchange (FX) trading complex in the world, set a new volume record Tuesday in its FX markets, topping the prior record set the previous day by nearly 62,000 contracts. Numerous individual currency product records contributed to the overall record, including the EuroFX, Japanese yen and Australian dollar.
