Danske Bank Licenses EuroMTS Indices For Structured Product

(LONDON) MTSNext is pleased to announce the first EuroMTS index licensee since the indices have been calculated in real time. Danske Bank has licensed the EuroMTS 5-7 and 15+ year maturity band indices for use as underlying references in a new 3 year maturity "Himalayan" structured product, issued by KommuneKredit, and listed this week on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
CRESTCo Increases Stock Lending Transparency With Launch Of New Data Service

CRESTCo is pleased to announce that a new information service providing daily data on UK and Irish stock lending and borrowing activity was launched yesterday, Monday, 29 September. The initiative comes in response to the conclusion of the April 2003 review of short selling by the Financial Services Authority (FSA), and is designed to provide greater transparency in the securities lending market.

On 1 January 2004, the Copenhagen Stock Exchange introduces a new realtime product - stock exchange quotations with order depth in 5 levels. This means that also private investors may track the five best prices on both bid and ask orders in the trading system and at the same time get information about the total volume on each level.
