RTS Bonds: III Quarter Market Data

In the III Quarter of 2003 total trading volume on the RTS Bonds, the system facilitating trading in corporate, government, municipal fixed-income securities and Eurobonds, reached 103 million rubles, down from 293 million rubles in the II quarter of the year. The New York Board of Trade® (NYBOT®) announced yesterday that the September 2003 total trading volume of 2,576,173 contracts established a new all-time monthly volume record, eclipsing the previous record of 2,452,174 contracts set in June of 1998. (NASDAQ®) today announced plans to launch the NASDAQ Official Opening Price and enhance the current NASDAQ Official Closing Price, pending approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission.
