(TSE) will make changes to the constituents of the TOPIX New Index Series, including TOPIX Core 30, TOPIX 100 and TOPIX 500, effective after the close of trading Wednesday, April 28. Standard & Poor's, a leading provider of independent investment research, indices, and ratings, estimates that the FASB's decision to require expensing of stock options would retroactively reduce estimated 2004 As Reported EPS for the S&P 500 to $48.45 from $52.30, a change of $3.85 or 7.4%.
