Boerse Stuttgart Records March Turnover Of EUR 5,6 Billion All Asset Classes Show Significant Increase In Trading Volume Compared With February Figures

Based on the order book statistics, Boerse Stuttgart generated turnover of around EUR 5.6 billion in March 2019. Securitised derivatives made up the largest share of the turnover. The trading volume in this asset class was around EUR 2.4 billion. Leverage products generated over EUR 1.2 billion. Investment products contributed around EUR 1,1 billion to the total turnover.

- The total value of shares purchased by “Saudi Investors” during this period amounted to SAR 50.59 billion representing 81.94% of total buying activity, and sales of SAR 55.29 billion representing 89.55% of total selling activity. Total ownership of “Saudi Investors” stood at 92.65% of total market capitalization as of 31 March 2019, representing a decrease of 0.22% from the previous month.
- The total value of shares purchased by “GCC Investors” during this period amounted to SAR 1.15 billion representing 1.86% of total buying activity, and sales of SAR 1.42 billion representing 2.31% of total selling activity. Total ownership of “GCC Investors” stood at 2.04% of total market capitalization as of 31 March 2019, representing an decrease of 0.01% from the previous month.

Claims Management Companies Enter UK Financial Conduct Authority Regulation Today

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) begins regulating the claims management industry from today (1 April). All claims management companies (CMCs) in England, Scotland and Wales will now have to demonstrate they meet and maintain minimum standards set by the FCA. All existing and new CMCs will need to apply to the FCA for authorisation.
