In continuance to the Capital Market Authority’s effort to regulate and develop the capital market, in addition to deepening it and promoting its role in raising capital, which were included in the CMA’s strategic objectives to enhance the attractiveness of the market for investors of all classes under the pillar of facilitating funding, one of the pillars of the CMA’s strategic plan (Financial Leadership Program 2019-2021), and in line with (the Financial Sector Development Program) one of the main programs to achieve the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

Qatar Stock Exchange, in cooperation with MSCI, held a senior level sustainability and ESG engagement session, titled MSCI Qatar ESG & Climate Change Forum in Qatar, with the aim to promote the business case for ESG and sustainability, outline QSE’s sustainability action plan to attract responsible investors, provide an overview of global investor assessment approaches to ESG, and serve as the soft launch for the QSE Sustainability and ESG Dashboard.
Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul): Adoption Of The Amended Rules On The Offer Of Securities And Continuing Obligations, Instructions For Companies Announcements, The Amended Instructions For Book Building Process And Allocation Method In IPOs And Approving The Amended Listing Rules

In continuance to the Capital Market Authority’s role in regulating and developing the Capital Market, and in line with (the Financial Sector Development Program) one of the main programs to achieve the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, and in accordance with the Capital Market Law issued by Royal Decree number (M/30) dated 02/06/1424H, the CMA Board issued its resolution to adopt the amended Rules on the Offer of Securities and Continuing Obligations, the amended Instructions for Companies Announcement, the amended Glossary of Defined Terms Used in the Regulations and Rules of the Capital Market Authority, and approving the amended Listing Rules and the amended Glossary of Defined Terms Used in the Exchange Rules, and they shall be effective upon its publication date, except for paragraphs (1) and (3) of Article 90 of the Rules on the Offer of Securities and Continuing Obligations, which will enter into force starting from 01/01/2020G. Further, The CMA Board issued its resolution to adopt and publish the amended Instructions for Book Building Process and Allocation Method in Initial Public Offerings, and that it shall be affective from its publication date.

Good afternoon. Welcome to the room where members of the Board of Governors and the presidents of the 12 Reserve Banks meet eight times a year—most recently, two weeks ago—to decide the stance of monetary policy. It's a magnificent, formal—perhaps even imposing—room, with 26-foot ceilings, a monumental marble fireplace, and a 1,000-pound brass and glass chandelier. It's seen a lot of history since Franklin Roosevelt dedicated this building in 1937. British and American military leaders conferred here during World War II. And, through the decades, our Federal Reserve predecessors grappled with financial turmoil and the economy's ups and downs. So when my colleagues and I take our assigned places around this polished mahogany and granite table, the setting and its history lends a certain formality—dare I say, stuffiness—to the proceedings.
