    The Review Meeting on 2018 Top 10 Futures Investment and Research Teams” (the “Top 10 Teams” for short) of Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) is held in Dalian on December 21 and 22. DCE Vice President Zhu Lihong delivers a speech and presents the award to the wining teams. A total of 8 judges from professional investment institutions make comments on and raise questions to the participating teams. More than 100 persons from 30 teams ranking the top 15 of the General Group and the Option Group take part in the review. After fierce competition, Tianfeng Futures No. 2 Team and Nanhua Futures Option Team win the first in the General Group and the Option Group respectively.

  • S&P Dow Jones Indices Europe Dashboard

    • Roiled by Brexit tensions, global trade uncertainty, and sharp declines in commodity prices, European equities slipped in 2018. The S&P Europe 350® fell 6% in December to end the year down 10%.
    • As expected, this month the European Central Bank announced that its stimulus program would end in January. The market’s reaction was muted, although Eurozone inflation-linked sovereign bonds finished the quarter down 0.6% as their fixed-principal equivalents gained 1.3%.
    • Despite a March 2019 deadline, the final shape of Brexit remains unclear ahead of an anticipated parliamentary vote in January. This uncertainty weighed down European equity markets; the S&P United Kingdom Index declined by 9% while Eurozone equities fell by 12%.

  • MIAX: Options Regulatory Fee Announcement

    MIAX will amend the Options Regulatory Fee (“ORF”) of each MIAX Exchange as follows:

    • MIAX Options will decrease the ORF to $0.00260 effective February 1, 2019
    • MIAX PEARL will increase the ORF to $0.00210 effective February 1, 2019
    • MIAX Emerald will implement a $0.00160 ORF effective February 22, 2019

    Following the launch of the Corporate Governance Index of The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE CG Index) during the inaugural Corporate Governance Rating System (CGRS) certification ceremony held in Lagos on Thursday, 22 February 2018, The Nigerian Stock Exchange (The Exchange) wishes to inform the investing public that three (3) companies namely: NEM Insurance Plc (NEM Insurance), Continental Reinsurance Plc and Diamond Bank Plc (Diamond Bank), have been removed from the NSE CG Index with effect from 01 January 2019.
