CUSIP Global Services (CGS) today announced the release of its CUSIP Issuance Trends Report for May 2026. The report, which tracks the issuance of new security identifiers as an early indicator of debt and capital markets activity over the next quarter, found a monthly increase in request volume for new municipal identifiers, while requests for new corporate identifiers declined.

EEX To Launch New Natural Gas Spot Trading System In 2027

The European Energy Exchange (EEX) will introduce a new natural gas spot trading system, under the name M7G, subject to approval from the Exchange Council. The M7G system will replace the current solution, with the switch planned for the second half of 2027. The implementation of the new system is already under way with a testing phase involving multiple front-end vendors.
