  • Nigerian Exchange Weekly Market Report For September 9th, 2022

    A total turnover of 949.819 million shares worth N9.329 billion in 18,525 deals was traded this week by investors on the floor of the Exchange, in contrast to a total of 1.195 billion shares valued at N12.924 billion that exchanged hands last week in 19,305 deals.

  • EBA Issues Revised List Of Validation Rules

    The European Banking Authority (EBA) today issued a revised list of validation rules for its reporting standards (Technical Standards and Guidelines), highlighting those which have been deactivated either for incorrectness or for triggering IT problems. Competent Authorities throughout the EU are informed that data submitted in accordance with these reporting standards should not be formally validated against the set of deactivated rules. In addition, the EBA also reactivated some validation rules, which should be applied again.

    The aim of the envisaged FWC(s) is to provide ESMA and EIOPA data to carry out economic research, and for monitoring financial market developments and their associated risks. More precisely, the data will be used to produce analyses and charts displayed in the semi-annual TRV reports and risk dashboards, and to write standalone research articles in these reports.
