EBA Has Been Awarded Top European Standard For Its Environmental Performance

The European Banking Authority (EBA) has become the first European agency in France to be registered for its environmental performance under the European Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS). The registration was issued by the French Ministry for the Ecological Transition for a duration of three years. The scope of EMAS covers all the EBA’s operational and core business activities.

BaFin has sufficient grounds to suspect that the website operator of (wonderkiri.de/), Wonderkiri OÜ, which states that its registered office is in Tallin (Estonia), is offering its securities “naos token” to public in Germany without the required prospectus.

Delta Finanz: BaFin Prohibits Delta Finanz From Offering The Shares Of Duracell Inc. To The Public.

On 07.09.2022 BaFin prohibited Delta Finanz, which states that its registered offices are in Amsterdam in the Netherlands and Frankfurt a.M. in Germany, from offering the shares of Duracell Inc. to the public. BaFin imposed the prohibition because the company had infringed Article 3(1) of the EU Prospectus Regulation. For this reason, Delta Finanz may not offer the shares of Duracell Inc. to the public in Germany.

Statement By US Secretary Of The Treasury Janet L. Yellen On President Biden’s Executive Order On The Committee On Foreign Investment In The United States

Today, President Biden issued an Executive Order reflecting the evolving national security threat landscape and underscoring the critical role of the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS or the Committee) in responding to new and emerging threats and vulnerabilities in the context of foreign investment. The Executive Order elaborates and expands on the existing list of factors that CFIUS considers when reviewing transactions for national security risks and describes potential national security implications in key areas. Among other things, the Executive Order enumerates sectors in which supply chain resiliency and U.S. technological leadership face an increasing national security risk — including microelectronics, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, advanced clean energy, and critical materials. The Executive Order also directs CFIUS to consider whether a transaction that it is reviewing implicates specific national security risks related to aggregate industry investment trends, cybersecurity, and U.S. persons’ sensitive data.
