  • Palestine Securities Exchange Trading Session Cancelled

    Due to the disruption of phone lines and the cutoff of leased lines between member brokerage firms and the Exchange, the Palestine Securities Exchange has cancelled its trading session for Monday November 20, 2000.

  • Oslo Stock Exchange: Greater transparecy

    With effect from today the Oslo Stock Exchange will publish details of which investment firms were involved for all share transactions. This information will be displayed, together with share price information, at www.ose.no with a 15-minute delay. The Stock Exchange’s web pages at www.ose.no also provide a great deal of other information on each of the 223 shares listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange.

  • Nymex Demutualizes

    New York Mercantile Exchange today announced that it had completed the demutualization of the Exchange at 11:59 PM, Friday, November 17, becoming the first exchange in New York to convert from not-for-profit membership structure to a for-profit structure.

  • MEFF To Launch Share Futures

    Date 20/11/2000

    MEFF, Spain's official futures and options exchange, will launch individual equity futures on the shares of the main companies listed on the Spanish Stock Exchange. Subject to regulatory approval, trading will start in January 2001.

  • Information To Recipients Of Market Information In Connection With The Transfer Of Derivatives To CLICK

    As announced in Briefing no. 93 the board of directors of the Copenhagen Stock Exchange and the FUTOP Clearing Centre has approved the rules regulating derivatives trading in CLICK and clearing via SECUR. The new systems will be introduced on 27 November 2000. The future platform for futures contracts on bonds has not been determined yet. ELECTRA will be closed down on 27 December 2000.
