The Securities and Exchange Commission today censured the four floor-based options exchanges for engaging in anticompetitive activities - in particular, for refraining from listing options already listed on another exchange - and for failing adequately to enforce compliance with their own rules. Deutsche Börse is postponing the extraordinary general meeting (EGM) scheduled for this Thursday, at which the shareholders were to vote on the planned merger with the London Stock Exchange. The company made the announcement on Monday after the Supervisory Board meeting in Frankfurt. According to Deutsche Börse, no new date has been set as yet. Deutsche Börse is thus keeping all of its strategic options open.

Franke Leaving Post As Eurex Chief - Ferscha Will Be New Eurex CEO And Executive Board

Dr. Jörg Franke is leaving the Executive Board of Deutsche Börse AG, Frankfurt, on the best of terms at the end of the year and will resign from his post as chief executive officer of Eurex AG, at the same time.
