Nymex Announces Accountability Levels And Reporting Requirements For Dow Jones Electricity Index Futures

The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., today announced position accountability levels and large trader reporting levels for the Dow Jones electricity price index futures contracts that were launched yesterday.

The position accountability level for each contract, the Dow Jones Mid–Columbia, North Path 15, South Path 15, and Palo Verde electricity price index futures is 5,000 contracts for all months or any single month and 500 contracts for the expiring contract.

The level at which clearing members must identify customers to the Exchange is 25 contracts. If a trader holds a reportable position in any one of the four index futures contracts, then all positions in any of the other contracts must also be reported.
