FTSE Confirms Regular Reshuffle - Eight Changes FTSE 100, Twenty One Changes To FTSE 250

Eight company changes have been confirmed to the FTSE 100, the UK's blue chip index, while twenty one changes will be made to the FTSE 250, the index of mid sized companies. The changes, which were approved this afternoon at the quarterly meeting of the FTSE Committee, are an accurate reflection of the UK's stock market.

Chicago's four financial exchanges jointly announced that their markets will be closed Wed., Sep. 12, in recognition of the tragic events that took place in the United States today. CBOT Crop Report Briefing Rescheduled For September 14

The Chicago Board of Trade rescheduled for September 14 the next in its series of press briefings for the media and members related to crop production and supply/demand reports, following release of the reports by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The briefing, presented by the Communications Department, will be held on the agricultural trading floor apron starting at 8:15 a.m. (Chicago time), prior to the start of trading, and will be webcast via MemberNet, the member web site.
