  • New Divisor Approved For CBOT DJ-AIG Commodity Index Futures

    The CBOT® Board of Directors and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) have approved a new divisor for the CBOT Dow Jones-AIG Commodity Indexsm (DJ-AIGCIsm) futures contract. The amended divisor will apply to the DECEMBER 2002, JANUARY 2003, and subsequent contract months. This change will be effective with the opening of trading on Tuesday, September 3, 2002.

  • Ljubljana Stock Exchange: Record-Breaking SBI20 Index

    On 23 August 2002, Ljubljana Stock Exchange main index - SBI20 has recorded its all time high since the establishment of the Exchange in 1989. Its value reached 2,996.98 points, and rose by 3.2 per cent if compared to the previous trading day, and by 1.6 per cent in comparison to its earlier record value of 4 June 2002. Since the beginning of this year, SBI20 Index grew in value by 40 per cent.

    The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) today announced that in conjunction with the delayed opening of the New York Stock Exchange, the CBOE will open trading at 10:00 a.m. CDT (Chicago time) on Wednesday, September 11, 2002. The delayed opening is in honor of the victims of 9/11 and in respect for the memorial services planned for that day in New York City and across the country.
