HKEx: Liquidity Providers To Be Introduced Under Amended Derivative Warrant Rules

Issuers are required to appoint Liquidity Providers (LPs) for derivative warrants listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), under amendments to the Listing Rules that became effective 10 December 2001.

Deutsche Börse: First Index Fund On The FTSE 100 Index In XTF: XTF Europe's Leading Segment For ETFs In 2001

Deutsche Börse AG is further expanding its XTF market segment for exchange-traded funds. Starting Friday, one new index fund based on the FTSE 100 index will be traded on XTF. The fund is issued by Indexchange. For the first time a FTSE index fund can be traded on the Xetra electronic trading platform, serving 422 trading members from 18 countries.

SEC Charges iCapital Markets LLC, Successor To Datek Securities, With Securities Fraud - Firm Will Pay $6.3 Million Penalty To Settle Charges

The Securities and Exchange Commission today charged iCapital Markets LLC, formerly Datek Securities Corp., with securities fraud and widespread violations of the Commission's broker-dealer books and records and reporting provisions. The Commission censured the firm and ordered iCapital to pay a $6.3 million penalty. iCapital consented to the issuance of the order without admitting or denying the findings contained in it, and to the relief imposed.

Oslo Børs: Changes To The Provisions For Transparency In The Fixed Income Market

The Board of Oslo Børs resolved on 23 January 2002 to permit the reporting of manual trades in bonds to be delayed until the close of the trading day, with no minimum volume requirement. This change will come into force in conjunction with the introduction of the SAXESS trading system. This resolution will have no effect on trades that arise from automatic matching, and such trades will continue to be registered continuously.

Oslo Børs Holding ASA 4th Quarter 2001

Oslo Børs Holding ASA achieved an operating income of MNOK 8.3 (-2.6) in the 4th quarter of 2001. Operating income for the year as a whole was MNOK 48.7 (15.3). Earnings after tax amounted to MNOK 49.8 (20.7) for the same period. The Board of Oslo Børs Holding ASA recommend to the General Meeting that an ordinary dividend of NOK 4 per share and an extraordinary dividend of NOK 14 per share to be paid.
